Goldcorp’s Peñasquito Mine Sparks Controversy In Mazapil, Mexico

Peñasquito is expected to produce roughly 500,000 ounces of gold per year, as well as 28 million ounces of silver, 450 million pounds of zinc and 200 million pounds of lead, according to Mining Weekly.
