Immigration Activists Join May Day Protests

Meanwhile, the U.S. Supreme Court is considering the constitutionality of Arizona’s SB 1070, which permits local police in Arizona to enforce immigration law and question the immigration status of people they detain. The Supreme Court’s decision is expected to have enormous implications as other states across the U.S. seek to adopt similar laws.
