Immigration Activists Join May Day Protests

May 2, 2012 By Carolina Ramirez

Oscar, who is from Mexico City and has been in the U.S. for about 11 years, said he didn’t think that the upcoming presidential elections will do much to advance immigration reform.

“It’s going to be difficult,” Oscar, 38, told the Latin America News Dispatch. “They don’t make immigration a priority. They give priority to the banks, to wars.”
