Mission and Vision

LAND is a publication run by NYU graduate students in the Global Journalism and Latin American and Caribbean studies programs.

Mission: We are an online news media publication that reports on Latin America & the Caribbean, and its people, including those in the diaspora. We seek to inform our readers through stories that are relevant and might otherwise go unnoticed.

Vision: We envision a society that is well-informed about the region and its people, and who show an active interest in the news media landscape focused on the region.
