Ex-Guatemalan General Appears In Court On Charges Of Orchestrating Massacres

Dozens of wartime victims’ family members filled the courtroom to witness the historic court appearance of López Fuentes, the highest-ranking official detained on genocide charges. Marylena Bustamante attended the event wearing a laminated photograph of her disappeared brother Emil.
