Cartagena, Beyond The UNESCO Heritage Walls

Pedro Rieto, 67, sits just two houses from the one where he grew up. “Before this wasn’t so high,” he says, motioning towards a reconstructed section of the wall. “And the streets were made of sand. But the houses are the same. The rest has remained the same.”
