Cartagena, Beyond The UNESCO Heritage Walls

Girls play along the plaza’s mangled fence. On this particular night, the crowd is gathered to watch a hip hop concert put on by a local church, co-sponsored by a missionary group from Indiana.

However, beyond the wall is a city very much in contrast to the colonial charm of the historical center. Colombia-based photographer Trevor Bach ventured into Cartagena to capture these images. […]
