Climate Change Poses Challenge For Peru

Like glaciers, high-altitude wetlands play a major role in regulating water supplies.They store water during rainy months, releasing it slowly over the course of the dry season. Unfortunately, they are threatened by climate change, over-grazing and deforestation.
